Online Education: Pros and Cons

The current COVID-19 pandemic has brought many changes in our daily life. Many sectors like education, business, etc are disturbed. The economic status of the country has been drawn back. In this situation,many countries have started to apply the idea of online education. Such education system are performed online using different technologies. Students can attend classes as if it is their regular classes in school. They are as effective as real time classes and have many advantages and disadvantages. Some of them are listed below: 

  Advantages of online education (Pros)

 1. It helps in the improvement of student's technical skills. 
 2. Students can attend the classes from every part of the world at any time. 
 3. Easy access for teaching and learning.
 4. Less disturbance compared to regular classes. 
 5. Teaching and learning becomes more effective and interactive. 
 6. Different ways of teaching can be conducted such as learning through videos, presentations and other different sites. 
7. It promotes life long learning. 
 
  Disadvantages of online education (Cons)

 1. Easy for students to sneak out of the class without the teacher knowing. 
 2. Limitation of technology. 
 3. Conducting tests and exams are not as effective in online as it is a bit suspectible for the examinees to cheat.
 4. Some students are likely to bunk classes without the teacher knowing. 
 5. With the name of attending classes students might chat, watch videos or play games. 
 6. Problems in the internet connection is also another issue. 
 7. It can decrease the creativity level of students.

Teej

 The Haritalika Teej is the significant festival celebrated by Hindu woman all across the country. It is mostly celebrated in Nepal and some parts of India. It is also known as monsoon festival and is dedicated to goddess Parvati. It is believed that fasting in teej will unite you with a good husband(like Lord Shiva) or in some cases a good wife:if you are unmarried.Whereas for married couples, fasting will elongate your husband or wife's lifespan and build a firm relation with them.With this belief woman all across the country fast for their husband's sake and go to nearby Shiva temple for worshiping. They gather together and enjoy this day by dancing and singing although they don't eat. Some of the woman fast by drinking water and fruits while some of them fast without drinking a single drop of water. It shows how much they love and care their husband. We can see most of the people wearing red on this day with different ornaments and makeup. Pashupatinath temple is very crowded on this day. Since this temple carries a great importance and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Woman from all ages celebrate this festival happily.
